New Cards!

  • Apr 14, 2008
  • Post a comment

Along side my son as we painted together I completed two more cards. I rushed out Sunday dragging him with me and had cards made of them! I was glad for him to see the process, I think he liked it, he didn’t complain.

I am so excited! I’ve just opened an esty shop selling note cards from paintings I’ve done. When I was handed the first print a wave of some unknowable felling went all over me. I just beamed all day, thrilled.

Getting Started on the 100 Day Challenge

  • Apr 7, 2008
  • Post a comment

I am so excited about the 100 day challenge. I hope to have a positive impact on someone through sharing my journey! I am writing this particular blog to help those who have questions on how to get started. I wanted to give you some links and resources to get you started. I did so much hunting when I started I wanted to save you some of that trouble. If you watch my first vid on youtube about the 100 day challenge, I think I called it an intro. I give a lot of advice and recommendations as I continue to do with my other 100 day vlogs. Below are authors and teachers who I feel will give you a well rounded start to your journey.

co-creating our reality
First you need to go and sign up. Click here to sign up.

you will get a newsletter giving you a quick run down of what to do. I give you that in my first 100 day vid too.

Then I would suggest watching one of the founders, lilou’s play lists’ at youtube called “HOW TO APPLY THE LAW OF ATTRACTION”. That helped me a lot. It’s on her channels front page.

the secret
Then go to the library and get ‘the secret’! it gives an excellent outline so that when you get into other things, listen, learn, read, other stuff related to that you will be able to make sense of where it all goes. Trust me. :)

my blog
You can check out my previous post where I have a list of books I’ve read, that I think will be useful, and that other’s on the challenge have read.

hayhouseradio.com & youtube
I also recommend going to hayhouseradio.com. there you can listen to many who deal with this stuff. It is free to listen to their live broadcast! Their archives are free too, all you have to do is sign up. it’s short and easy to do. They keep adding new hosts, it really is amazing, you must check it out!

Jerry and Esther Hicks teach the law of attraction almost exclusively. You can find them at hayhouseradeo.com and on youtube where they have there own channel and a series of vids about the law of attraction. btw, Esther Hicks was was in the original ‘the secret’ movie but was later cut out. They explain it on her youtube channel. Go here, here, and here for some outtakes from the movie. Click here to go to the first in five of their vids on the law of attraction. Click here to go to their internet radio show.

Sonia Choquette, Ph.D. is one of my favorite teachers. She focuses mainly on intuition but what she teaches is essential to manifestation, to this challenge. She also teaches you how to raise your vibration which you learn from the secret is important to enable you to attract the good things you want and not the bad. She has been interviewed by Lilou, a founder of the 100 day challenge. Lilou has that interview in a series of vids on her channel. I really suggest you watch them. Then you may want to follow up by listening to her on hayhouseradio.com and listen to her archives! Priceless! I hope that you all find her and be blessed by her teachings. Click here for her internet radio show. Click here for her the first of several youtube vids.

I have found Debbie Ford on hayhouseradio.com who gives a balance to this whole thing. She teaches you to face and embrace all the ugly, negative, and scary stuff. You have to embrace before you can let go or else those repressed fears and feelings will pop up some where out of the blue leaving you puzzled and unhappy. You can’t positive think your way out of everything. You have to embrace those shadow parts of you, your demons, your fears and strong feelings. Then, then you can let it go for good! That is what she teaches basically. I’ve just gotten one of her books from the library. I’ll keep you posted on that. Click here to go to her internet radio show.

I would also recommend looking at Michael Losier. He has a book out, ‘law of attraction’. I haven’t read it yet but what I do suggest is that you listen to what he has to say on youtube! Wow, it will help put things together and give you a little more depth to what the secret teaches. He keeps it simple and doable. Great place to start. Go here to see his channel to watch all his vids!

You also have to listen to Lynne McTaggart, there are some vids on youtube about her book, ‘The Intention Experiment’. It will give you an even deeper look into intent and the law of attraction. She will blow your mind! Go here to listen to 1 of 11 vids. You will want to listen to everyone, it is so interesting! i've listened to them twice thus far!

I think that is all you will need to get off to a good start. You can quickly watch videos and listen to radio shows and archives that will get you up to speed and give you a full picture. I do recommend reading ‘the secret’ when you can. Once I did it pulled it altogether in a cohesive picture, I saw the big picture, or at least a much larger one than I did before. Then when you look into these other teachers you will see and benefit from what each contributes to this journey into co-creating our own realities.

Good luck and have fun!

ps: you can go through my favs on my channel to find all most of these vids and more. Like other individuals who are on this journey as well as the three founders youtube channels!

100 Day Challenge ~ Co-Creating Our Reality!

CATCH UP
I’ve finished ‘You Didn’t Hear it From Us’ by Dushan Zaric & Jason Kosmas the other night. I was so thrilled to actually complete a book! I’m still working on ‘The Magickal Life’ by Vivianne Crowley while reading two other books! They are ‘A Little Book of Prosperity Magic’ by Cynthia Killion and ‘The Love Spell’ by one of my favorite authors Phyllis Curott.

All good books. The fact that I can’t finish them is no reflection on them. I have always had a hard time finishing a book. I get part way through it then I get enthused about another subject and off I go to the next book. But I am committed to finish what I’ve started this time. I’ve really learned a lot of interesting and useful thing from Vivianne Crowleys’ book though I’ve been reading it forever. I also stopped reading all together when I got sick for well over a month.

I started with allergies then developed a cold then ended up with strep throat and before I was done with that I got the flu and now I’m back to either a cold or allergies, I’m thinking it’s allergies given the season and how I feel. So I have come full circle, lol.

100 DAY CHALLENGE!
I’ve come across this new exciting game I like to think of it, ‘the 100 day challenge’! you make a list of what you want to ‘manifest’ (bring into your life, make happen) and then you work with from a list of techniques using ‘universal laws’ to bring it forth. I know this stuff works, I’ve done it, I’ve manifested some pretty amazing things in the past. So I’ve decided to do it again. I was on this path anyways so I will make it official and more fun by joining others doing the same thing and getting their support and hopefully making new friends! :) I wanted to put this out there so you can do it to. You have nothing to lose, nothing at all.

you can learn a lot of these principles just by listening to hayhouseradio.com. Sonia Choquette, Ph.D. is one of my favorite teachers at hay house radio so go check her out and tell me what you think. There are a lot of other teachers there who cover this kind of stuff. Some you may be familiar with like Dr. Wayne W Dyer, Caroline Myss and Doreen Virtue!

To get started, one of the authors who has been at this probably the longest, well that I know of, is Louise Hay. Yes, hayhouseradio.com is hers. She is an amazing woman and will give you some simple basics on the universal laws and how to use affirmations and other skills to manifest what you want. You can go to amazon.com to find her books, some as low as a penny if you chose the useded link. ‘Heart Thoughts: A Treasure of Inner Wisdom’ by Hay, Louise is one I’ve sent off for, can’t wait to get it but ‘You Can Heal Your Life’ is the one I grew up with. It also gives you the basics.

Well good luck to all of you, let me know if and when you decide to try this challenge! :)

You can see what I’m up to at the web site that started this whole 100 day thing at http://100days.ning.com/profile/Dinah

Go to http://100days.ning.com/ to learn more about the challenge and hopefully join.

Catch Up

This is my first blog of the year. So much has been going on. A new adventure, loss, illness. What started as allergies turned into a cold then strep throat then the flu which is where I am now! :(

The loss was my new cat. He had issues, ok. He would sit at my feet then suddenly jump at my face grabbing me with his claws and teeth! Not once, but several times. That among other things made it undeniable that he is feral, too feral to live with us. My son had claw marks from him. he would come home scared of the cat. You just had to see him yourself, they way he would move around the house. My son not the cat, my son was just scared! So after yet another set of attacks I decided to surrender him to the city knowing my son would be ok with the cat being gone. I cried so, they let me hold him while they were doing paper work. I just hugged and kissed him, telling him I loved him and so on. Afterwards I got my money and went shopping, I just shopped and shopped and forced myself not to think of him. I couldn’t go home because then all I would do is think of him, reminded of him, so I shopped. I got three movies I hated, a couch cover that’s too small but workable, and beautiful pillows to match.

And now the adventure. Well, dating. Yep, I’ve finally started to date after leaving my x 7 years ago. Took a long time to close that chapter and be ready to open myself up to new men, new experiences. Ms Dragonfly is very happy ;)

Hope everyone has been doing well!

I am so thrilled to hit a hundred subscribers! YEAH! Again I felt myself and free in front of the camera. I’m glad that I was able to share my excitement and gratitude more genuinely :)

I’ve been sick the past few days as some of you know and some how I’ve managed to turn out several vids. But I’ve stayed away from stickam. I just stopped by last night ‘cause I was not ready to go to sleep and bored. :D I was feeling a little better. I seem to feel relatively well during the day but by the evening I feel sick as a dog. *shrugs* I don’t know, that’s how I feel. Do you ever feel that way when you’re sick sometimes?

The first night I was so sick I manage to cook dinner and back cookies, all from scratch! Don’t ask because I have know idea how I managed that. right now I’m trying to think of what I can through together without having to go to the store! I dread getting out in the cold. ::burr:: yes, I love the cold but that doesn’t mean the cold love me! :) lol...

Anyhoo, y’all have a great weekend once again.

Merry Christmas,
Dinah

This is the first time that I felt completely comfortable and most myself in front of the camera. I’m finally getting there. I’ve been waiting for this moment, shift and am delighted that it’s here. I expect to turn out better vids just by being more open and comfortable being myself while filming. I feel I have had a breakthrough, graduated, evolved, and grown! :) I wonder if you all noticed a change in me or not.

Now I would like to share in color the ornaments you saw in ‘Ornaments of Meaning’.

Each of these ornaments have special meaning to me as you know from my video. I hope more people respond to silverscreamgrl’s video sharing their special ornaments. If you haven’t please do so, I would love to see them, just send me a not and I’ll have a peek :D

Everyone have a lovely weekend!

Merry Christmas,
Dinah

the weather has been crazy lately. Hot then cold, hot then cold again. Still cold, burr.

I’m so glad it’s back to cold even though I’m freezing my tail off! It’s the way it should be for this time of year. I hope it lasts.

We had a quite weekend. Watched a lot of Christmas programs, played video games, etc. he got to watch the game with Papa. He loves his football and knows all about the game.

Now I’m back to YouTube obsession, making and watching videos. What to do?
